Research overview:
Dynamical systems are investigated with the use of Principal Component Analysis (P.C.A.). A large number of data are embedded in a multi-dimensional space and the whole system is regarded as a dynamical system. Several principal components governing the system are extracted from the constructed space. Then, adding the time dependent data, we construct a new several-dimensional equations, which clarify the driving forces in the whole system. The method can be extended so as to manage the non-linear effects.
