Research overview:
A plasmid vector, T-DNA CAM (35SRNA Enhancer)was introduced to Arabidopsis thaliana via Agrobacterium tumefaciens by vacuum infiltration. The plants with inserted enhancer segment to chromosomal DNA were collected, and selected for their mutation changing the regulation of floral defferentiation. Lemna paucicostata 441 were subjected to photoperiodic treatments to induce flower differentiation and not to induce it. cDNA libraries were constructed from mRNA from both plants and the differential screening for the isolation of flowering specific cDNA has been performed.
