Research overview:
The purpose is to enhance technical perfection of direct sowing cultivation by decreasing production cost and increasing yielding ability. (Results) 1) Stable and high yielding production technology in direct sowing paddy rice cultivation in cold region, compromise direct sowing cultivation (Instruction reference in 1986, Hokkaido Agricultural Experiment Station) 2) Provisional standard for paddy rice cultivation by directly sowing in a flooded paddy field, limited to the central part of Kamikawa (Instruction reference in 1989, Kamikawa Agricultural Experiment Station) 3) The spread of a large-scale broadcast sowing method for paddy rice direct sowing in flooded paddy field to suitable regions in central Hokkaido and southward(Instruction reference in 1993, Central and Kamikawa Agricultural Experiment Stations) 4) Pythium spp. and others are responsible for unstable establishment of a seedling. Seed coating agent and others are effective for a seedling perishing disease (Instruction reference in 1989 and 1993, Kamikawa Agricultural Experiment Station) 5) Rational manuring method for paddy rice produced by direct sowing in flooded paddy field (Instruction reference in 1997, Central and Kamikawa Agricultural Experiment Stations) 6) A method of emergence by ponding water release in paddy rice cultivation by directly sowing in a flooded paddy field (Instruction reference in 1998, Central and Kamikawa Agricultural Experiment Stations) 7) Performance valuation of various kinds of seeding machines in a method of emergence by ponding water release (Instruction reference in 1999, Central and Kamikawa Agricultural Experiment Stations) 8) Actual state of the occurrences of noxious insects in a direct sowing cultivation (Instruction reference in 1999, Central Agricultural Experiment Station)
