The gastrointestinal functions are regulated by autonomic nervous system, the excitation of cholinergic nerve resulted in these function. It has been well known that the gastrointestinal dysfunctions can be produced by not only its local lesion but also psychological disturbances. We examined the whether the changes in balance of autonomic nervous system causes gastrointestinal disturbences. Since the hypothalamus is the center of autonomic nervous system.
