Elucidation of collapsing behavior of ground-temporary structure system by applying dynamic load

Research overview:
Ground-temporary structure compound system collapses when it is subjected to dynamic load hysteresis. The collapsing behavior of the compound system is elucidated using centrifugal model experiment to clarify the relation between the deforming mode of ground and load that acts on members of the temporary structure such as sheet pile and strut. These studies will provide information relative to the effective reinforcing technique for the temporary structure such as earth-retaining supporting, and the propriety of taking dynamic load into design consideration.
