Research overview:
As to sea weeds, oysters and scallops, which are the main cultured products in Miyagi-Prefecture, the present techniques of their seeding and raising are studied again. Especially the more effective and more stable methods are established in regards to the characteristics of the environment of the fishing grounds. The production problems of each kind of culture methods are experimentally studied and their causes and their countermeasures are studied.
