Research overview:
Novel functional materials and devices are developed by the structure control of submicron, nanometer order functional organic thin layers, and organic and inorganic complex particles for practical application. Novel light emitting devices, sensors or water repelling membranes are developed by controlling the thin layer structure with molecular beam epitaxy or vacuum evaporation and particle size and dispersibility of micro particles using light emitting organic molecules, organic molecules or polymers/organic and inorganic complex particles containing deviation of electron in the molecule.
