Research overview:
In the orbital plan of 'GEOTAIL' in the international project ISTP, in order to carry out its mission to observe the magnetosphere tail, a method of swing-by orbit of the double moon is adopted. In this study, we analyze and design the orbital planning of all the mission of 'GROTAIL' by orbital planning program which was also used for 'HITEN', and the transfer orbit of the moon and the swing-by orbit of the moon was already achieved successfully. Now, it is on the orbit that goes around the earth inside track of the moon orbit (Near-Tail orbit).
