Research overview:
(1) Pressurized smoke discharge experiment is achieved using 2/5 scale middle size basic underground model to elucidate the smoke shielding condition at opening. (2) Estimation equation of smoke discharge wind speed is obtained considering similarity rule from the experimental results of small and basic underground models of middle size. (3) The simulation of the above pressurized smoke discharge experiment is achieved using existing thermal flow software, and experimental result and estimating result are compared. (4) Problems of the existing zone model are extracted as the fire fighting activity simulator.
