Research overview：
Various elementary technologies are needed for relative navigation utilizing images in the coming future. Extraction of objects out of an image is one of them and it becomes a great task. In particular, it is conceivable that detection of linear elements, which are frequently included in artificial structure and the like, is especially important. By utilizing such a fact, the relation of positions between a camera and bodies in an image can rather easily be obtained.
