Research overview:
As advanced processing process using carbon dioxide laser, high quality precision welding technique of new material, precision high speed welding technique of thin plate material, surface improvement technique having high functionality, FA technique by laser processing and so on are listed. Among them, ceramics is picked up as a new material and joining technique of ceramics by high performance carbon dioxide laser is performed. Using 87% Al 203 and by adding ceramics powder etc. as an weld additive to the welding part to prevent welding defect, the target is to obtain the same or better welded joint efficiency as base metal in the four point bending test performed after welding.
