Research overview:
In the last phase just before penetration of a penetrator module into the lunar surface, attitude control using cold gas jet (G/J) is scheduled. Because the difference of the response time delay of the G/J drive solenoid valve from the specified value reflects to the angle of lunar surface penetration, high-degree stability of the response time delay is required. In addition, system weight reduction is required. In these respects, the development of a G/J system with a compact, light-weight high-speed solenoid valve is conducted.
