Restoration of riparian environment in agricultural area
1997 - 1999
Investigating Researcher (5)：
Land developments have induced damage of stream environment, such as water quality and biota. Streams in agricultural land become lower production and riparian buffer function to water pollution and aquatic biota diversity, must be reestablished by means of the appropriate arrangement of forest along the stream. The aim of this study is to clarify the pollutant runoff process, buffer function and impact to aquatic biota, and to introduce an appropriate method for establishment of riparian forest.
