Research overview:
For advanced decomposition technology for trihalomethane precursor substances, optimum conditions of ozone oxidation and biological treatment are established. An electrolytic oxidation method is established by the development of stable films and electrodes with high reaction efficiency. For advanced dissociation technology for the precursor substances, the development and recycling method for high-efficiency adsorbing agent is established. Further, technology for application to a field in consideration of profitability is established.
