Research overview:
Lactic acid bacteria was separated by using hemagglutinating activity from Japanese pickle. The bacteria was adherented to CaCO2 human intestinal cells. The adhesion was slightly inhibited by fetuin and aciarofetuin. Also, the bacteria suppressed that E. Coli O-157 was adherented to CaCO2.
