GFPC is a composite architectural material fabricated from fly-ash, pumice, glass-fiber and a small quantity of polymeric binder, and is already available as inner wall, exterior wall, free-access floor and other architectural materials. One of the characteristics of this materials is that although it is as porous as about 50vol.%, reinforcement by glass-fiber enabled us to use for structural parts. In this study, the mechanism of fiber-reinforcement in a porous matrix will be investigated.
