Research overview:
We survey growing conditions and results of harvest of paddy rice and wheat and offer information quickly to both of administration and popularization sites. Regarding the new character rice (semi-glutinous rice), 'Akineiro', we clarify cultivation properties in various transplanting times and fertilization conditions. Also, we clarify cooking properties of the new character rice including a mixture with other kinds of rice. Regarding promising species and families of hard wheat, we investigate fertilization methods for ensuring a proper ratio of protein content to develop a high quality and stable production technique.
