Study on chromium-phosphate alloy plating film using trivalent chromium bath

Research overview:
Plating condition is optimized (composition of plating solution, electrolysis temperature, current density) by preparing chromium-phosphate plating film from electrolysis solution containing trivalent chromium added with organic additives such as hypophosphorous acid and carbonic acid. Also, physical properties (film composition, hardness etc.) and corrosion resistance (salt water spray test, cas test etc.) evaluation is performed on the chromium-phosphate alloy plate and current chromium plate to investigate the possibility of replacing chromium plating from both industrial and ornamental aspects.
