Research overview:
We study examination of effective use of liquefied timber for the purpose of effective use and recycling of wooden waste matters that are mass produced in an industrial fields. An urethane foam whose material is liquefied timber is thought to have functions that is not exist in an ordinary syn-thetic urethane foam because above-mentioned urethane foam is degradable in soils by microorganisms owing to natural polymer specific to the timber. In this study, we make the urethane foam whose material is liquefied timber by way of trial, evaluate its physical characteristics, and examine usefulness of the urethane foam. (technical problems): 1. Manufacturing method of uniform liquefied timber 2. Manufacturing method of urethane foam whose material is liquefied timber 3. Test and evaluation of degradable characteristic of the urethane foam 4. Trial manufacture of the urethane foam products.
