Research overview:
By using transfer priting method, the thick film designed to monitor NOX selectively and in high sensitivity one of the harmful gases emitted from the combustion system is developed. Tungsten oxides and indium oxides are used as materials. Improvement of the high sensitivity to NOx, and the gas selectivity of NO or NO2 on the control of the film thickness and the component design of hetero lamination are examined. Nox sensor developed by Saga Ceramic Recearch Laboratory and temperature sensor and CO sensor developed by Osaka Municipal Industrial Research Institute and Mie Pref. Science & Technology Promotion Center are integrated. The hybrid sensor with high functionality and low cost is developed by transfer priting of the integrated sensor.
