Study on constructing quantification model for development process of commercial products

1) "How to create strong commercial products that precisely respond to consumer's needs, social requirements and the like" has become important in companies along with maturation of the market. This fact may be expressed in other words that importance of "product planning force" so far stated has become further risen, but often observed still at the development site of medium and small companies are cases that development activity in accordance with intuitive approach/judgment or ideas from existing commodities/techniques of their own, so-called product-out seeds idea. 2) At the site of design, too, on the other hand, many proposals of analysis with multivariable analysis at the central figure have become observed to contrive realization of commodities that takes consumer's needs into consideration, but cost, labor and time become bottlenecks to bring them all down to earth after all, and they are considered as hardly fitting in the site of permanent development activity at medium and small companies or design offices. 3) Thus, process of commodity development activity in the manufacturing industry is determined to review from viewpoints of design and quantitation, and devise to establish a quantitative commodity development procedure of multipurpose and convenience in order to support charming commodity development activity of the manufacturing industry by studying commodity in video equipment as a model case in a practical manner. 4) Besides, in the present study, we determined to attempt construction of procedure that brings coping with ISO 13407 (design process of interactive system with humans at the central figure) that is a design guidance recently attracting eyes into view.
