Using high tensile aluminum alloy, aluminum composite and titanium alloy as metal with high relative strength, conditions for optimum forging and heat treatment to obtain their formed and fabricated material are elucidated. This year in particular, relation of machining speed in machining and heating and cooling rate in the heat treatment of titanium alloy with the quality of the product is investigated. As for the aluminum composite, new machining process is developed by combining material control technique including molding of ceramics particle dispersion material, composite molding of ingot material with particulate material and so on by the particulate and liquid phase molding method that was developed in the preliminary research in last year.
