Research overview:
High-intensity ultrashort-pulsed lasers characterized by the extremely high-power densities create extraordinary nonequilibrium states in materials. Therefore, they can be used as a new tool to induce new phenomena and create interesting materials. In this project, we not only explored new phenomena induced by such laser pulses in the attempts to create new materials, but also the technique to generate intense femtosecond laser pulses was improved.
