Research overview:
Wheat straw soybean chaff treated with pressured steam and with ammonia after steam treatment are studied for the purpose to improve the nutritive value of by-products. Feeding trials on pregnant and lactating ewes and growing lamb with ammonia treated rice straw are also planned.
