Research overview:
A research on the integration optimization of a future type space transport plane is under way. Numerical simulation on the airframe configuration of a TSTO has been conducted to improve an aerodynamic model in the integration optimization. Comments have been made to: the aerodynamic interface of two air frames bears important meanings; as a result, the existing aerodynamic model for the integration optimization contains a high error factor. In addition, integration optimization work by the GA optimization technique, using a newly constructed aerodynamic model was conducted. Finding tells that the air frame is heavy compared with existing results, leading to the large air frame.
