Development of a harvesting and transporting technology using a self-driven transporting vehicle running between furrows

Research overview:
Remote control with a radio controller is possible for a transporting vehicle (RAC), which is developed by National Agricultural Research Center, an independent administrative institution, and fast in movement and closely follows space between furrows. Hence, the pattern of cooperative work is altered in relatively large fields for cabbage and lettuce to survey the extent of saving labor and making labor lighter at the time of harvest and adjustment. Efficient use methods for RCA and selective harvesters are clarified.
