    Livestock Experiment Station was set up where it is now. Breeding Sheep Station was merged into the Experiment Station.

    Breeding Poultry Station was merged into the Experiment Station. Merger of livestock facilities was completed.

Business overview:
The Experiment Station is promoting to raise new
varieties of feed crops as well as the breeding
improvement of livestock in order to play the leading
role in the livestock industry in Nagano Prefecture.
The Station also conducts studies for the innovative
technology development, and verifies new technology
so that the Station can promote the production of
safe and good quality stock farm products with low
cost as well as the environmental preservation.
