Business overview:
In order to construct an agriculture with posibilities
for sustained development and able to repond to the
new international environment, and making to most of
it's specific lacation Iwate must concentrate on the
development of research ahead of its time.
-Aggressive use of biotechnology and other such
technologies, in order to improve livestock
quality and to develop high quality, marketable
local products.
-Research and development of extremely low
labour-intensive and low cost production and
management techniques, in order to comete
internationary.
-Research and development of revolutionary production
techniques using cutting-edge automation and systems
technology.
-Research into sustainable production and management
techniques wich make use of ecosystems and take into
account environmental conservation.
-Development of processing techniques for high prices,
marketable agricultural products reflecting the
locality, as well as research and development of
tactics for the profitable distribution of such
products.
-Research and development of ways to revitalise
mountain areas using the resources available in
farming communities in such areas.
-Research and development of a foundation of
comprehensive maintenance and management methods
for rural areas, taking into account the development
and improvement of methods of evaluation of the
multi-faceted functions of rural areas.
-Development of the various management systems
needed for sales, administration, breeding and
cultivation using comprehensive agricultural
information systems.
