    Tenri Foreign Language School (coeducational) was founded.
  • 1927/12
    Tenri Foreign Language School was established under Vocational School Law.

    Tenri Women's Gakuin was established by transferring schoolgirls from Tenri Foreign Language School of the old system.

    Tenri Women's Gakuin was changed to Tenri Women's Vocational by Vocational School Law.

Purpose of establishment:
Oyagami (The Supreme Being) created the world, so
that we could share cheerful life. Oyasama (The Guru)
was born to prove Oyagami's presence and the truth
of the universal brothers and sisters, and showed
how people should live by helping one another through
the way of Hinagata. Our university has a vital role
to cultivate people who contribute to the establishment
of the world for cheerful life, based on the teachings
of the Guru.
