Kwansei Gakuin was founded with Biblical Department and Academic Department in the eastern suburbs of Kobe. Dr. Lambuth was appointed the first chancellor;J.C.C. Newton, Dean of Biblical Department; N. W. Attrey, Dean of Academic Department.

The objective of the University is to endue wide
