Purpose of establishment:
The Tokushima Prefectural Industrial Technology
Center was established by combining the Tokushima
Prefectural Industrial Research Institute and the
Tokushima Prefectural Foods Research Institute.
The role of the Center is to promote and contribute
to the progress of industrial technology as well as
the technology necessary for the production of
consumer foods. Much energy is also spent on the
dissemination of research and study results in these
fields.
Business overview:
The activities of the Center are conducted in five
major areas which are research and development,
technological support, fostering and training
programs, provision of information, and technological
exchange programs. In the second area, the support
activities include conducting experiments on request,
holding technological consultations, technological
training programs, holding lecture classes and
seminars, and offering the facilities of the Center.
