Purpose of establishment:
In 2006, the Nara Prefectural Agricultural Experiment Station was established by combining three agricultural sections of Nara Prefectural administration:
•Part of the Dissemination and Guidance section
•The section involved in education for future generations (including the Nara Prefectural Junior College of Agriculture.)
This was in order to effectively promote prefectural agriculture policies. These three sections have been building up closer connections to solve various problems of the prefecture’s agriculture.
