【請求項1】被検者の組織、体液若しくは糞便又はこれらの抽出物に対する抗体の反応性の有無又は反応強度を検査することから成る大腸癌及び大腸腺腫の検査方法であって、該抗体が、下記一般式 R1-Galβ1-3/4(SO3-6)GlcNAcβ1-R2 (式中、R1は他の酵素群によって付加される糖残基であり特に構造は限定されない。Galβはβガラクトースを表し、GlcNAcβはβN-アセチルグルコサミンを表し、Galβ1-3/4は、Galβの1位とGlcNAcβの3位及び/又は4位とが結合することを示し、(SO3-6)はGlcNAcβの6位に硫酸基が付加していることを示し、R2は-3GalNAcα、-3Galβ又は-2Manαを表し、GlcNAcβの1位に結合する。)で表される糖鎖を有する抗原と特異的に反応することを特徴とする検査方法。
