その自然のままの形態では一般に不溶であると考えられる高分子に対する溶媒が、溶媒の溶媒質(レイリー散乱によって演繹される)と固有の特性との間の関係における「溶媒共鳴」の生成によって同定される。溶媒共鳴の局在の極度が理想的な溶媒の理想的な固有の特性を同定し、それを次いで特定の溶媒または溶媒の組み合わせを選択するのに用いてもよい。グラフェン用の溶媒を用いて透明な導電性の電極を製造する。
