【請求項1】 ソーラセールのセール主面上に高反射率部と低反射率部とを設ける工程と、
前記ソーラセールの前記セール主面上に光を導入し、前記高反射率部から第1の推進力を得るとともに、前記低反射率部から第2の推進力を得る工程と、
前記第1の推進力と前記第2の推進力とを合算し、前記ソーラセールに対する駆動力を生ぜしめる工程とを具え、
前記高反射率部及び前記低反射率部間の境界線は、前記ソーラセールの半径方向と略平行となるように設け、
前記高反射率部及び前記低反射率部は、前記ソーラセールの駆動時において、前記ソーラセールの前記半径方向と略垂直な方向において屈曲させることを特徴とする、ソーラセールの制御方法。
