facility Main purpose: To examine combustion state,
heat transfer, exhaust characteristics of a gas
turbine combustor, a conbustor element and a ring
combustotr for practical machine up to 1MPa.
(1) Medium pressure combustion test facility
Air source: 720kW motor driven multistage
centrifugal compressor 2
Testing part:
Inlet air pressure 0.11 - 1.0MPa
Inlet air temperature: 400 - 1,200K
Inlet air flow rate: 0.4 - 3.6kg/s
Fuel: Lamp oil, methane gas, hydrogen gas
Completion: Fiscal 1982
(2) Ring combustor tester
Air source: 10,000kW motor driven multistage
centrifugal compressor
Testing part:
Inlet air pressure: 0.11 - 0.7MPa
Inlet air temperature: 500 - 700K
Inlet air flow rate: 8kg/sec
Fuel: Lamp oil
Completion: Fiscal 1975
