About 150 pieces of Buddha images, Buddhist scriptures
and other Tibetan Buddhism related objects, collected by
Bunkyo Aoki during his investigation in Tibet for five
years from 1912. The Bunkyo Aoki's Tibet Collection at
the National Museum of Ethnology in Bulletin of the
National Museum of Ethnology, Special Issue no.1.
User procedures and method:
Hours and days:9 am to 5pm, from Monday to Friday, but
not available on Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays,
around New Year's Day from December 28 to January 4, and
some other days for checking artifacts and facilities.
Users: Those who study or conduct research about
ethnology at universities or inter-university institutes,
or those who the Director-General thinks is appropriate
