The Manju is a representative tune of Kowaka
User procedures and method：
Dance Music. Surviving books related to the Manju
may be divided into two categories: those to be
delivered as lectures and those to be read. The
Tadamanju Scrolls are thought to have been
produced for the purpose of reading. There are
considered to be about 10 scrolls belonging to the
Nara style of illustrated books. However these are
the only illustrated scrolls of this kind. They are
estimated to date from the middle of the Edo period.
They were purchased in 1956.
