In October 2, 1985, this music score collection was

donated by Jiro Nakano, a musician in Nagoya City.
Mr. Nakano had collected scores for mandolin and
guitar for 65 years. This collection is valued for
its quality and quantity, and includes ones scored
by Carcassi and Fernando Sor, who were maestros and
originated modern guitar music. This collection also
includes scores by several hundred maestros from the
early 19th century to today and rare first edition
scored by Mauro Giuliani.
This collection is available for inspection only at Imadegawa Campus Library, Doshisha University.
