The Ancient orient Museum has collected and exhibited
ancient artifacts, and provided informations revealing
to the history, culture and art of the Near East.
The museum collection is constituted of clay objects
(pottery, Figure, tablet etc.), stone objects (figure,
relief, seal etc.), metal objects (vessel, figure, coin
etc.), and glassware etc. The Number of registered
collections is 1,461 pieces at the end of fiscal 2001.
About 500 pieces are displayed in the standing
