Risorgimento is well known as the movement from 1815 to
1861 that marked the last phase in the evolution of Italy
toward a national state under one government. This
collection came mainly from Gianni Caproni (a businessman
in north Italy). Later, materials that were left by
Italian government and were owned by Cesare Maria De
Vecchi di Val Cismon (1884-1959, facist) were added to its
collection. (3801 books)
