【請求項1】被写体の顔を撮影するために用いられる顔撮影装置において、前記被写体の顔全体の部分を収容し略球状の空間が形成された筐体と、前記筐体の空間内に光を照射する少なくとも2つの光源と、前記光源による光が照射された前記顔全体の部分を撮影する撮像手段とを有し、前記光源は、前記筐体の略球状の面に対して、前記被写体の顔の中心位置から水平方向及び垂直方向にそれぞれ所定の角度間隔で左右対称に複数配置され、配置された複数の光源の組の中から選択された1又は複数の左右対称の組を用いて前記光を照射することを特徴とする顔撮影装置。
