【請求項1】正常プリオン蛋白質(PrPC)をソースとし、異常プリオン蛋白質(PrPSc)をシードとして用い、両者を混合・培養-超音波処理を繰り返えすことによる牛海綿状脳症(BSE)由来PrPScを増幅させる蛋白質ミスホールディング循環増幅(PMCA:protein misfolding cyclic amplification)法において、混合・培養-超音波処理を、硫酸多糖化合物の存在下に行うことを特徴とするBSE由来のPrPScの効率的増幅方法。
