【請求項1】 回転可能に車体に取り付けられた駆動輪と、 乗員及び/又は重量物を搭載する搭載部と、 前記駆動輪に付与する駆動トルクを制御して前記車体の姿勢を制御する車両制御装置とを有し、 該車両制御装置は、 前記搭載部の荷重分布と、前記車体の傾斜角及び/又は車両の加速度によって前記車体の重心高さを推定する重心高さ推定手段を備え、 該重心高さ推定手段によって推定された前記車体の重心高さに応じて前記車体の姿勢を制御する車両であって、 前記重心高さ推定手段は、前記車体の重心高さの推定を禁止する推定禁止手段を備え、 該推定禁止手段は、車体傾斜時及び/又は加減速時及び/又は旋回走行時である許可条件時には前記車体の重心高さの推定を許可し、前記許可条件時以外には前記車体の重心高さの推定を禁止することを特徴とする車両。
