【請求項1】 アグロバクテリウム法によるイネ科植物の形質転換方法において、イネ科植物のカルスもしくは胚と、外来遺伝子を保持したアグロバクテリウムとの共存培養を、イネのカルスからの抽出物を含む培地を用いて行うことを特徴とする、アグロバクテリウム法によるイネ科植物の形質転換方法であって、前記イネのカルスからの抽出物が、イネカルスを、水又は液体培地中に、2〜48時間浸漬及び振盪することにより抽出されたものである方法。
