【請求項1】 タンパク質を植物細胞内に蓄積させる方法であって、 thioglucoside glucohydrolase(TGG)が欠損したミロシン細胞が、維管束周辺以外の植物体内にも存在しており、かつvam3遺伝子が欠損している又はvam3遺伝子に機能不全を引き起こす変異が導入されている多重変異体に、N末端に細胞内膜系移行シグナルを有し、かつC末端に液胞移行シグナルを有する標的タンパク質をコードする遺伝子を発現させることにより、当該多重変異体内のミロシン細胞の液胞内部に、前記標的タンパク質又は前記標的タンパク質のN末端領域が欠損したタンパク質を蓄積させることを特徴とする、タンパク質の植物細胞内への蓄積方法。
