【請求項1】 リグノセルロースを含む植物バイオマスをアンモニアで処理する酵素糖化用原料の製造方法であって、 前記処理を行う系内に存在する水分量が下記式(1): 水分の質量/(バイオマスの乾燥質量+水分の質量)≦0.30 (1) を満たし、 前記処理における前記アンモニアの温度及び圧力が、横軸を温度軸、縦軸を密度軸とし、圧力を等圧線により描くアンモニアの相図において、飽和蒸気圧線と、飽和蒸気圧線を縦軸方向に-1.5kmol/m3平行移動した曲線と、横軸と温度60°C、密度0kmol/m3の位置にて直交する直線と、圧力1.7MPaAの等圧線と、によって形成される閉じた領域内に位置することを特徴とする酵素糖化用原料の製造方法。
