【請求項1】 頭痛を有する患者の片頭痛又は緊張型頭痛かを判定するための装置の作動方法であって、 (1)患者から得られた座位及び立位での心拍数データを高周波数帯域(HF)及び低周波数帯域(LF)にフィルタリングし、さらに心拍変動パラメータであるLF/HF比率を算出する工程と、 (2)該算出したLF/HF比率の体位性変化比(立座比)を算出する工程と、 (3)該体位性変化比(立座比)が予め設定した基準値以下であれば片頭痛と判定し、該基準値を超えれば緊張型頭痛と判定する工程と、 を含むことを特徴とする装置の作動方法。
