【課題】二次電池用正極活物質として有用なリチウム複合酸化物を提供する。【解決手段】リチウム複合酸化物は、組成式LixNayNi1/3Mn2/3O2(式中、0.7≦x≦0.9、x≦0.05である)で表され、650〜900ppmの範囲に、6Li-NMRの主共鳴ピークの極大を有する。主共鳴ピークの半値幅は、好ましくは200〜450ppmである。リチウム複合酸化物は、組成式LiyNaxNi1/3Mn2/3O2(式中、0.7≦x≦0.9、y≦0.05)で表される複合酸化物に、リチウムイオンを化学挿入することにより得られる。【選択図】 図3
