【請求項1】 シリカ殻からなるシリカ中空粒子と、 前記シリカ殻の外表面と内表面の少なくとも一方に担持された亜鉛含有結晶粒子とを備え、 前記シリカ中空粒子の平均粒子径は30〜2000nmであり、 前記亜鉛含有結晶粒子の平均粒子径は1〜20nmであり、 前記亜鉛含有結晶粒子は、CuKα線によるX線回折パターンにおいて、2θ=(9°、18°、27°、36°)の角度群、2θ=(10°、15°、17°、20°、21°、25°、28°、32°、36°)の角度群および2θ=(32°、34°、38°)の角度群のいずれか1つ以上の角度群に回折ピークを有する、シリカと亜鉛含有結晶の複合材で構成された複合材中空粒子。
